lovely, cant be many caravanning families that haven't had a sprite at some point.

good honest 'vans.

looks to be of age when the old style bodies started to gain plastic windows
but before the aerodynamic front ends, though sprites have had a lower
front roofline since late 60s.

Love it, had 3 sprites. One a musketeer and 2 alpines. One of them I reckon was identical to that one. Is it the one with the 2 pole/hammock type top bunk?

yes it is, and to be honest I will be sorry to see it go, i have spent a lot of time in it over the last couple of months. But 4 caravans is just too many (according to the boss)

and it is now sold

think if could would have a lot more than 4.

would start by collecting classic 70s caravans

in increasing lengths of 2 foot!

from 8foot to 20 then jump to some traveller
palace then onto some crazy hgv sized yanks.

just need a field to store 'em, perhaps a
caravan site of my own too.

I would like to collect caravans too, but I think I'd give the Yanks a miss, Those 'fifth wheel' things seem like a nice idea but I feel they just ponder to the way some people would like to take the whole house on tour and they look dreadful.

It would be a nice idea to supply 'period' caravans to film sets as they never seem to get that right, for example 'Heartbeat' all the cars look freshly restored when many would have been old bangers and the few caravan scenes they did had many caravans that were a decade too new
