Default Hello !

Hello everybody !
My name is Razvan and I am new to this comunity. Just bought a Terrano II 1995 manufacture, red color, 5 doors, 2.4 liter engine.
Besides some rust at rear fenders everything works well. A litle scared by the fuel consumption but it will not be an everyday car. Just for fun. I have uprgraded (I hope) from a 2 liter Sport Fronty due to the lack of space and everyday problems (mostly electric). I understand the T2 has also its part of electrical issues but all in all a better car - and it suits me perfectly.
Thank you and enjoy your rides

Welcome aboard!!

Your T2 is an early model so shouldn't have much to go wrong with the electrics The later model's have more electrics but even so they are not too bad. I'm sure the cost of fuel can not be as much as we pay so you will be fine.

Watch the front Auto Locking Hub's as these can cause problems. Also watch for rust in the rear wheel arches seat belt mountings and the sills tend to rust too.

Jim

Welcome to the site mate, you should see what the 2.7 TDi uses if you think yours is bad - I'm sure you will enjoy her!

I have 2 road going 2.4i's and having a lead right foot been getting around 21 to the gallon, round town, on a run, heavy towing, made no difference, but been to Norfolk over the WE and decided to control my lead foot, so did not go over 60- 65 and kept the acceleration down a little, result 28 to the gallon checked it twice out and return, so just shows, and welcome by the way, plenty on here to keep your interest up, Rick
