What bad luck that is, can't you claim off the house insurance together with the roof repair? Just a thought.

Mistral definition :-
A strong cold dry wind that blows south through France to the Mediterranean.

Today is called sick Monday, as it is one of those days when most people take off sick...

Roof tiles are outside, can't get more outside than that can you.

Even better, they will have "Landlord insurance" they have failed to maintain the house in a suitable safe condition, and as such they are responsible for third party damage.

Contact them, also any bodywork scratches etc....

Doesn't work that way sadly, they will always refer you to the motor insurer. The third party liability on house insurance is for personal injury.

most local authorities don't carry insurance for such events at all!

what they have is a little man (or woman) employed to argue with you and try to make your claim as small as possible. He will have the authority to pay, but will first try and make you claim off your car insurance - be persistent
