I already have a car and a van, and I went to away for 3 months so it hasnt been a priority.
but there is a problem wth the Mistral yeah , the auto box only seems to change into 1st and 2nd, also the changes are slightly jerky and it seems like it is holding onto the gears a bit before changing. I might try a fluid change and looking through the manual thats on here. Any of you guys have any suggestions ? help would be appreciated |

to add further .... the mistral is not a tyre smoking truck , if you put your foot down hard on the loud pedal , you will achieve nothing apart from it going into power mode, then you have to flick the switch back to the centre ... pain in the glutimuss maximus ....it teaches you how to drive all over again ...... fantastic car ....... love mine to bits

I checked the power button, flicked it to the middle position and it seems ok, so thanx again B, couldnt drive it too far as no MOT but its now booked in for one on thursday so fingers crossed, its only done about 10 miles since the last one ( due to the previous owner thinking the gearbox was knackered !!! ) so hopefully it'l' pass.
Im Living in Garston. Not sure if the cars going to be a keeper yet as im short on space at the moment, and due to a change of career plans now have a surplus merc sprinter im going to sell. In the mistral the dash seems to vibrate a bit on the passenger side when idling, is there any way of increasing the idl speed a bit ? Also the speedo isnt working is this a common fault ? loads of questions I know but one more please ? whats the correct tyre presure meant to be ? |
