Default what ratio

which gearing should i use for towing caravan? like i said before im a 1st timer on 4x4
i was told to use 4 high, is this true, many thanks 4 your advice.. :idea: 8)

Use normal 5 gears to tow caravan .Only use low box/4x4 when offroad or you will get problems with transmission wind up.

Never use 4wd high or low on a hard surface with one of these motors. When your on a muddy field you can slip it into 4wd if you like. Thing to remember is that tension can build up between front and rear wheels, if your on soft terrain they can spin to release the tension. If your on hard terrain then they can't spin and you get a build up of more and more tension until something has to give to release the tension.
