If this applies to prisoners, then how do the army address their privates.
I watched the Dad's army film tonight, Mainwairing addresses his privates as : Wilson, Jones, Walker, Frazer, Godfrey, Hodges, Pike ( stupid boy) etc I think people have to earn the respect to be called Mr. Or rather be respected and be called Mr until they loose the respect. If they have let down society they have let them selves down, but they probably don't see it that way. Some believe their mistake was getting caught in the first place. I wonder what prisoners call each other in prison, I bet it's not Mr.... If they don't have respect for each other, then why should anyone else. When Doctors are called Mr, it usually means they are consultants and specialists in their field.

prison staff should just call them by their firstname then, thats a stipulation in the policy. If they start calling them Mr, then yet again, scumbags win the day.
