Default Bad language on the forum.

Just recently every post on here seems to have offensive language.
Every other post is J**p this or J**p that

No way to speak about your ancestors....

1941 was a very good year for our hobby.

Just been sat in stand still traffic for about 20 mins on the M40 on the way home from work.

Lane 3 was closed southbound.

Bloody Grand Cherokee broken down in outside lane

All this jeep banter got me thinking the other day so when I had 5 mins I did a bit of research into the history of 4wd vehicles.
I was smugly pleased to learn that, yep you guessed it the Japanese invented and produced the first 4wd car.
It was called the Kurogane Type 95.
It was the world's first four-wheel drive passenger vehicle placed into mass production before the Willys MB (Jeep), which was introduced in 1941, the Daimler Dingo in 1940, the Volkswagen Schwimmwagen introduced in 1942, and the GAZ-61 in 1938. Its nickname is the "Yonki" which in Japanese means "all-wheel drive" In the field, soldiers often called it the "daruma".
So all you jeep boys who think you are driving the very origin of the 4x4 think again.Old jap beat you to it
