USB Port for DashCams
Bought myself a rear view mirror dash cam last week http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00P42S4FW
that came with a loooong power cable to hide round the screen and dash but didn't want to do that.... So done this.... https://www.dropbox.com/sh/52hxb1uy3...maikba82a?dl=0 Hopefully the dropbox link works as I've added comments to the photos. Not sure if you guys will have the same socket in the roof if you haven't got a sunroof? Cheers. Ian |

Cheers guys. It wasn't a difficult job. You could wire one of these in with any of the power outlets to gain usb ports.
Here's the 12v to 5v converter I used but there are others available. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...300443&alt=web Ian. |

Can even supply 3 amps, so enough for an ipad, dash cam, sat nav, iphone. Brilliant. They are cheaper direct from China, if you want to wait, and some have single or twin outputs, and some have side lugs that need a couple of screws to fix them.
