Can anyone tell me how they manage to get their profile avatar at 8.5K or less?

Adobe goes to 33K min?

I know 8.5K was a huge file size in the days of my Commodore Vic 20 but as of today its ant like in proportion?

Microsoft paint, then keep down sizing it till it is small enough in file size

Ill give it a go!!!!!!!!!! must admit this I have changed to a surface pro 3 with windows 8.1 and Im finding it hard after always using windows 7.

all my pics are 100kb taken with my camera set on TV mode, that way I pull the chip out of the camera, stick it in the lappy and upload direct, Rick

aggressive off road tyres on wheels so just swap.
Aim to get stuck and be completely self sufficient in extraction, love getting muddy, 2ft deep is good but rare.
