I joined the club in March 07 as my Maverick was getting older, and I wanted to sort minor problems rather than booking it into a garage each time. The members of the club have been so great in answering issues quickly with ideas on how to check and fix things.
I have since "Fixed problems I never knew I had"
I have also a lot of experience to offer the club and find myself chipping in where I can to help fellow members.
There are lots of threads from social events, technical forums general chat etc
Questions like ... where can I get this ?
How much should I pay for that ?
Will that widget on ebay fit my truck ?
Spares for sale, website links ?
Members discounts
What tyres are best for this terrain etc ?
How good is my 4x4 off road ? With meetings to try just that..
All this contributes to saving a load of money and only a tenner yes £10.
Cost you more than this to buy a round of drinks with your mates just to ask them one thing..
