Default I met pete and sally today

yup, as the title suggests, I popped over to meet Pete and the car "that started it all"

First off, Petes a grand lad, as we all know, real nice chap, Sheila is a diamond too, lovely lass, made a reight nice coffee for me!

now, onto the motor, the sun was going down, but i managed to take some pics. they arent the greatest quality but viewable!

one of the pics is blurred, but basically its the air conpipe, and its missing the blue screw cap thingy, so we need to discuss where to get a new one!!

anyway, heres the pics, ignore the old guy in the background....

part one of engine bay, nice and clean

part two of engine bay, its pretty tidy

the missing air con cap

nice dry rear diff

pretty tidy underneath i think

smart original nissan bull bar!

look at the size of that oil cooler!

catalogue pose

Pete and Sally

prrretty

angle shot, show me love!

and a mystery peice of plastic, anyone know what this is?

waddya all think? good innit? engine sounds sweet as, feels to have loads of power. Dead tidy inside, everything works, i'd say its an excellent example, few marks here and there but thats no big deal, probably tidyer than mine!

Good as well done all.

All you need now Pete is a tow bar , a tin shed (its what these trucks live for) and a crate of beer.

i'm not sure that small peice of broken plastic is a cup holder though, its pretty small. imagine something made to fit over the seat belt anchorage, or perhaps something attached to the seats, its got that sort of look to it, except theres nothing like it anywhere to be found in the car that we could see....!!

oh...hang on... I just thought, could it be a peice for the rear parcel shelf?

also, what about this air con cap, can you buy new ones? Petes is missing, so obviously all gas is gone in his air con,,,,
