Insurance, not sure where to post this
Hi Guys,
First of all, this site great, I have learned more about my recent Terrano II since coming on here than I could have hoped for from a book. I love my motor, but there is a fly in the ointment. I have always managed to get a good deal through Tesco (don't shoot me) and again, they gave me a good price fully comp etc for the Terrano. Then the bombshell, do it have a cat 1 or 2 alarm immobiliser fitted? No idea I said, its the one fitted at the factory, do i have a certificate? Nope says me.....to cut a long story short, the jobs worth script reader on the other end of the phone tells me I am covered, but not for theft until I produce and engineers certificate to say if its cat 1 or 2. What a pain.... HELP !!! Pete |

it should'nt matter, just tell them it's a factory alarm/ immobiliser, you definately got a jobs worth, you could try "saga" we pay £165 protected for 2 off us. or try tesco again you mat get someone who knows what there doing.
