Hi every one,
My name is Steve and i live in Dover and am looking to buy a Ford Maverick SWB, 95/97 mod (as this is what £ i can afford) not shaw about petrol or diesel yet. I do know the Diesel engine runs a chain or cog drive for the cam shaft drive, but iam not awear what drives the petrol engine cam?any one know. I am also aware of the gear box problems, is there any other issues with this truck. Well that's it for now and i am looking forwards to chatting on the forum once ive got my truck. Cheers Steve. |

I am still looking, and do agree that the Diesel engine is the way to go,and do like the face lift 96/7 SWB model. Jimmy yes can you send on some pics of your truck, and let me know the milage etc, i may be tempted not shaw how far away you are but that's not to much of a problem. i will pm you Jimmy with my email address.
