Hi went out with mr and mrs Elton and big G for a local run we set of just before 8 0pm .Council byways dept had been busy repairing a couple of lanes and one had a tro on it till 23th june due to a couple of bomb holes and ruts .Elton had to leave after 3 lanes to get the young ones home for school in the morning ,Gordon and I carried on and did 5 more lanes and a watersplash before gordon stopped for a chip supper before heading home.I took Paul my next door neighbour with us he had never been off road before and he realy enjoyed it,
he drives a freelander v6 wants to have a go in that, perhaps a convert. in the making . I would just like to say thanks for coming at short notice.and hope you all enjoyed it. rgds.iandouglas |

Evening Ian, yes it was enjoyable. We had a tour around your old stomping ground and doing the last 3 or 4 lanes in the dark, yes it was good fun. Good to see Elton and family. Gordon.

Good for yous lot
Glad you all had a good time.
I saw eight freelanders in two groups a few month back out on the lanes in the Yorky dales. Very unusual sight. So they must be a capable motor. |
