What a shame they are / were great retro style bikes !
It's a crowded market place - I think the Triumph range was somehow more modern yet retained the brand image / look plus better value.
The Norton seemed more stuck in the past to me, with the likes of Mash (currently not imported) for those looking for value for money they seemed expensive in or price conscious times. The crazy discounts being offered last year were an indicator that all was not well. Still a shame - there will be some new bargains to be had in dealer stocks. I expect at some point the brand will return to production somewhere in the world. |
