Christmas Greetings
Well it’s here and it seems to of arrived at 100mph. I’d like to wish you all a Wonderful Christmas with your friends and family.
People stress too much at this time of year worrying because this has been forgotten or any number of insignificant things that don’t really matter. As long as you have loved ones around you it real doesn’t matter if turkeys over done, the sprouts are burnt or whatever. Just remember to enjoy the times with loved ones and make memories as you never know what is around the corner. This year I’m determined to enjoy the Christmas I so nearly might not of had. So raise a glass or cuppa to us all and wish us all a bery happy and peaceful Christmas. All the best everyone. |

Merry Christmas Jim... And everyone else.
Suz and I are struggling a bit this year, getting into the Christmas Spirit. We took our little Toffee to the vets to be spayed last week, something went wrong, and she died under the anaesthetic. She was only 15 months old, and was not only a real character, but had really taken to Suz, finding her for cuddles day and night, especially when she was suffering from insomnia. It was such a shock, as we tend to think of having them neutered as a routine operation, and while we sign and read all the waivers, I have not taken them seriously for this. We have had over 50 ferrets neutered over the years, and never a problem. The worst part is we have Topic with heart issues, and he was very close to Toffee, and has taken it very badly. He actually had a Stroke 2 nights after, but seems to have pulled through that. This is coupled with her deaf sister, Sherbet, who not only was attached at the hip to Toffee, but relied on Toffee's ears to look out for her. Tonight is also the 2nd year anniversary of Suz's dad passing away. But on a high, I have had the Jeep for a whole year today, and still loving every inch of it. And, here is a cute Christmas picture of Sherbet doing her best "cute" look, but I think she might be waiting to ambush Santa when he comes to fill the stockings. |

Sorry to hear that Clive, not good news at all, it just brings home to roost that there is always a risk with general anesthetic, Rick
