Not really Jim that Lada is totally unrealistic and not worth a light, Rick

I have to say, I am amazed that the bearings didn't just die on the spot with the amount of twist from those spacers... it does say a lot that they could do all that with it.
You have to admire those old Lada's, it takes a lot to kill one. My uncle ran a Taxi company back in the early 80's when Lada first came out over here, and he used them as their fleet of cars. He couldn't fault them, they ran up to silly mileage, minimum servicing, and cheap as chips... also being so agricultural in design, they always won when they were involved in minor shunts, and the insides could be hosed out if you had a bad passenger... |

Making 4 of those spacers would have taken a lot of time & effort for something so pointless.
On the other hand they seemed to enjoy it & we were daft enough to watch. |

I’m pretty sure they made the video as they do others for a laugh, certainly made me laugh and I didn’t take it as a serious project at all.

Wheel Spacers
And there's me always worrying about the 12 mm spaces on our SL to make E Class alloy wheels fit!
