hi I'm scott from lancs with a recently acquired 02 plate d22 navara...it has the maverick conversion....any pointers or info greatly appreciated...

Hi and welcome aboard, don't blame you with your caution mate. You'll see I've been on here for a while so that will speak for it's self but nuf said. Yeah the terrano/maverick engine is a strong old ox. There's no timing chain or belt to worry about as it's gear driven and the fact the same engine was fited to London taxis speaks volumes too. They seem to run quieter with mineral oil rather than semi if you can get it.
As said loads of advice and plenty banter too, we have members on here that no longer have a terrano but stayed for the friendships. |
