I think the next thing you buy should have caterpillar tracks.
You might be able to get over the stones then.

The bidding seems a lot for vehicle that is probably a non runner.
The listing is very basic I guess with 17 bids one of them has been to look at it.

My son-in-law put his old Audi A8 with LPG on flea bay a few years back and despite adding that bidders should view the vehicle first and pay a deposit if they were the winning bid before collecting. A Trader with a 4x4 and trailer turned up at his house before paying the deposit so he turned him away. The bloke got quite nasty and threatened legal action to recover his costs - that was a bit daft as he was unknowingly talking to a Solicitor !

It was pointed out that he could pay his 10% deposit on Paypal via his i-phone and then test drive the vehicle at the agreed price. If any undeclared faults were found then there was room for negotiation. He left without paying a deposit. Vehicle was sold at the re-listing for a slightly better price !
