Default Hi guys, newbie here

I have my first pathfinder and up to now its been amazing but its latly started to shudder while accelerating and stops when I lift off. is this a common prob ? ive read a lot about the auto ones doing it but mine is manual ?

I look forward to your help guys

Diff lock on rear
3 inch SS straight through exhaust
Manly winch bumper with 13000 lb winch
10 spike ground anchor, with multiple straps and blocks
Super strong body cills capped with scaffold pole
20% stronger springs all round
aggressive off road tyres on wheels so just swap.
Aim to get stuck and be completely self sufficient in extraction, love getting muddy, 2ft deep is good but rare.

Hiya mate and welcome, check out West Yorkshire yorkshire engine services if you suspect it could be an engine problem, the guy specialises in the navara/pathfinder engines, 2.5l aren't they?, so he says anyhow

Hi and welcome mate

If you'd have come on here and said that you had these symptoms with a Terrano the instant answer you would got back is the UJ's on the rear propshaft and to be honest I think this is likely to be your issue presuming of course they are RWD like the Terrano.

Get underneath and grab the prop, twist it as hard as you can side to side and pay close attention to the spider each end whilst doing so, if you see any play then get them swapped

cheers for that mate al have a look under in the morning, it seems to be a big problem with the auto overseas but mine is manual so fingers crossed, what kind of money in getting them changed. ye it is rear wheel drive
