Track rod issues...
Now I have the new boots on, (nice, quiet,) I have another problem.
They couldn't do the tracking as they couldn't shift one side set of adjusters. They had heat on it, after 20minutes they adjusted the issues out using the other side so that the tyre wear should be okay, but steering wheel is no skew-whiff. My brain says to not p!ss about freeing up, just fit new track rod kits both sides from Milners (they had serious issues with other side too). Am I correct? If so, it looks a fairly straightforward job. Can I do it with the wheels/truck on ramps, or do I need to get the wheels airborne on axle stands? |
