Default £1 Awning build

Managed to get my rear awning done a couple of weeks ago we had a 8x10ft trap which we used to put under our old 4 man dome tent & I had some old gazebo poles in the shed so cut a couple down to the height I wanted but I had to spend a pound on some guide ropes to finish it

Guide ropes go through the awning onto some little hooks which hook onto the rear door handles

Looks like it'll do the job.

Just one thing...
If you have any metal eyelets in the tarp that you drag over the roof, either cover them or remove them, as they might scratch the roof, more especially when it's windy.

That's a pretty cool awning, cheap, fast to set up and take down and doesn't take up to much space in the boot
