I've just discovered that you can't leave negative feedback on Ebay
I'm selling some kit and after the muppet trying to scam me, I had to relist the stuff and fair play to Ebay for being helpful.
Now I discover that the person who won one auction, and who is not communicating and as of yet hasn't paid or made arrangement for collecting the goods cannot receive negative feedback for messing people around. That's a bit of a joke, isn't it? I'm aware that people aren't on the internet 24/7, I am aware that people have holidays, but surely if there is an auction that you have won, or hope to win, you'd make sure that you followed it through to the conclusion as soon as possible. Rant over. |

I concur and think it's very very unfair, ebay really don't respect the seller anymore

I think the system should be that the seller has to leave feedback as soon as the buyer pays.
The buyer has fulfilled their part of the deal completely at this point. And this would be before the buyer gets to see the level of delivery/ after sales that the seller has to offer. And each party can leave positive or negative. The more I use Ebay, the more I think it's a bit crap. |

e bay woes
e-bay can be a pain. We sold some cocktail glasses on e-bay a few years back. Buyer said items never arrived. As it was about £8.00 we did not bother with signed for delivery and buyer said item never arrived and was given a full refund.
About 3 months later the items were returned to us via Parcelforce as - uncollected from his local post office. All but one glass was broken. Now we donate a lot of stuff that is too good to throw way at Barnardoes Charity Shop. |

In this case I would always report the buyer to ebay, that has always worked for me in the past. I have always had good service from ebay.

Would you believe it, but it's another hacked account making unauthorised bids?
Ebay's security is pretty poor, innit? |
