bad air filter, bad fuel filter, the weather, low or uneven tyres, extra weight in the car clogged exhaust system...

A caravan on the back tends to kill the MPG You must have a look next time you go out lol...
Staying too long in low gears. Driving with the hand brake on, or binding brakes. Being in 4 wheel drive on dry tarmac roads. Someone has found a way to easily remove fuel without you noticing. Blocked air filter. You have removed your plastic aerodynamic bumpers and have replaced with a couple of lengths of scaffolding pole. Faulty exhaust not causing adequate back pressure. High speed driving Low speed low gear crawling in traffic. ...
