Default the rat look....

so as I posted before. I got rid of the front bling and sprayed the front grill black

It didn't quite look right.
so I took the plunge and sprayed the bonnet matt black

oh dear.It was a bit too breezy and the engine had warmed the bonnet drying the aerosols instantly.

oh well no going back now.I have just ordered some military vehicle nato matt black
2.5 ltrs for 22 quid with free delivery.thats enough paint me whole truck

I know a bloke who painted his landy with this using a glossing roller and it looked sprayed on.

I will only be doing the bonnet for now or else r!cho will be having all my money to replace my graffics

its a very patchy spray job I must admit. but once its been done properly i.e removing the bonnet and doing in a proper environment I think it will look good.
I have also ordered a road legal stick on no plate to put on the bonnet

next job I think is to try and cut as much bumper off as possible without it being unsafe or illegal.

then its replacing the rear door card with a cooking shelf and storage.then that useless center consol is deffinatly out

another 3 years and it my be something like I want it

Looking awesome bud, tell you modding is an illness, since Wales I've been dying to get a spring lift for the Trol...

Reckon I'm gonna put that on hold though and get a membership for the local offroad place - 150 acres of reclaimed woodland... woohoo!!

The matt black should stop or really cut down any light glare from the roof lights think the bumpers & door mouldings would look good in black aswell then you'll only have 3 colours instead of 4

that's one of the major reasons I decided to do it matt black.that should in theory absorb the light and not glare

and I was also sat here looking at the pics myself thinking mmmm
maybe all of the plastics going black. it will cover all the scuffs and its cheap as chips to repaint after outings.

were on the same wavelength

As you know the bumpers & door mouldings are what get scratched the most green laning so a cheap & easy fix on these would be great to keep it looking good plus you'll stand out in the crowd having a T2 green over black instead of the very common green over gold
