french registrations
hi i have just aquired a french t2 and dvla says i need to get a certificate from the french version off dvla does anyone know who they are or called or contact details for them

Hi Ramboline, First thing you need to do is find out which department it was registered in.There will be ether a number and a logo in a blue panel at the right hand side of the plate if its the new style plate, or its the last two numbers on the old style plate . Check this number against a list of departments and you know were it was registered.You then have to right to the main prefecture in that department,(in French ) with proof of purchase and ask for a copy of the CART GRIS The French log book!
It would be much easier to track down the previews owner and see if they have it |
