Terrano steering
Took the truck to have the tracking done as my tyres seem to be wearing on the outside edge and the bloke told me that there is somthing wrong as there seems to be a lot of play in steering and this was also noted on the mot advisory list. I'm going to change the two tie rod assembly's and also the idle arm which is on the passenger side but have noticed that on the cross rod which goes from one wheel to the other there is some sort of ball joint which one side goes into the pitman arm and the other goes into the idler arm. Can I change these ball joints or are they solid joints which are part of he cross bar ? I rang millers today and was told I had to buy the full bar at the cost of around 90 bucks ?

Yeah the centre drag link is a complete unit. It does seem to be one of those parts that does go from time to time.
