Ring up for their specialist 4x4 department. I had a 90 Van, Was never a issue.
If it's the very rear seats don't bother telling them. |

which seats have you removed... personally, I would just keep the seats in the garage, so I could put them in for the MOT, and not say anything, after all, it's not like you are adding anything to a potential insurance claim, less people on board to get hurt, and it's not like they are structural, or removing increases the chances of it being stolen either.
On most cars, you can remove the rear seats as and when you want. Seats 6 and 7 (3rd row), are just like that, and although it is not a design feature for the rear seats, 3,4,& 5 (2nd row) on the T2 to come out, it is a very simple mod to make them so. My V70, both the 2nd and 3rd rows could be removed when ever you liked, and I never even thought I might have to tell the insurance company when I did it. If on the other hand you have removed them so you can fit more things in for work, then of course, it is a commercial, and you should be paying the extra premium. |

after getting many very silly quotes, I tried Sky Insurance and got a really good quote from them - I was able to mirror my no claims from my Fiat Stilo (I have 8 years, so they gave me four) and its a new policy, came in at £390 odd, but I pay monthly. By far the cheapest quote I have ever had for a 4x4. The actual policy is with Chaucer, so far got a new windscreen out of them and its a fully comp policy - just no cover for off road use.
worth speaking to Sky, see what they can do. |

You should be covered to drive green lanes as they are part of the public high way & you have to have T&T plus insurance to drive them like you do on the main roads, P&P sites are a different matter as they are normaly on private land
Ive removed the 3rd row of seats on both the T2 & my old disco, told my insurance company & they weren't bothed one bit about it & there was no probs when it came to the MOT as they can't test what isn't there with the 2nd row of seats it shouldn't put the price up as mentioned before less compen claims. TBH i've always had stupid prices from more than like £1400 fully comp even tho i've got full protected no claims & i'm 38 so not a young'un |

my t2 failed its mot with the rear seats removed as the said the seat belts werent there!
I said neither are the seats, but they said I could put them back and they needed to see them. I was also told didnt need emmisions check because it was a seven seater.....with the seats in. I just threw them in the back and they were happy. bri |
