Thumbs up towbars, electrics and split charge wiring

whilst looking for a tow bar for the Hyundai, i came across this, wiring diagrams for various sockets and split charge units

give us a wee click then

Ryan, that is terrible...

You can not just connect the trailer indicators up in parallel to the car indicators. At best it will make the car indicators flash too fast, but could actually burn out your flasher circuit. Not only that, but you must have some form of warning device that the trailer indicators are working, be that a buzzer or flashing light, but the one for the car indicators is not sufficient. You need an indicator controller.

haha, so the towbar manufactuer are wrong? well, at least the electric supplier


i've ordered a audible beeper, same as what i installed on the terrano, verry good, cheap and extremely loud
