Default things you need in a car

i'm sure you've had more than 1 car, i'm curious, what do your vehicles 'past and present' have in common? my cars have to have roof rails and a decent stereo, and my last 3 cars have all been blue too

I have had so many they must all have had something in common: wheels, steering wheel, seats, engine, windows, . . .

Apart from my fist car a Mini, they have ALL had tow bars.
Oh except my motorbike
Indicators, lights, battery is handy too, electric start,

They nave ALL had alarms, most designed and fitted by myself.

Things I need...
Central locking, electric front windows at least.

Never needed an alarm. neer had owt worth knicking
Oh!there was the one time the Plod knocked on my door as they had caught some scroat havin the Stereo from my Maestro.
When asked by Plod why it wasn't locked I replied "if it was locked I would now be minus a stereo AND have a broken window that woud take time and money to repair"
"fair comment" said Plod!

That's why I don't lock my cars in my locked garage, if they get into the garage, a locked car door isn't going to slow them down too much
But the damage will be greater.
