My plan is to just save up and buy one, then I'll just befriend an old boy sailor type and get him to take me out and show me the ropes Love this tho as the mast is easy removable so I can go down the canals and rivers of uk and France etc I'll keep dreaming for now

I taught myself to weld to a reasonable standard by watching YouTube vids, I reckon I'll be able to do the same with sailing ... Maybe

looked into getting a canal barge, its bloody expensive to use the waterways, about £400 a year iirc, then you also need insurance, public liability aswell, gas safety certs, electrical certs, then have to have all the fuel line tested to make sure they are the right grade for use in the water etc. the list goes on, in the end we decided its cheaper to go and watch the other people in their barges
