Terrano A Frame
Hi all, does anyone know if An A frame front bull bar which came off a 2000 terrano would fit my 2004. Thanks again

Don't know about yours but mine bolts on at the bottom of the chassis where the towing eye is. If the chassis are the same you should be ok.

I think the main issue in fitting an A bar from another year is the position of the upper mounts (the lower ones fit to the tie-down eyes, which I would guess are the same throughout the range).
On my my '94 T2 the upper mounts are attached to a pair of L-shaped brackets, with the long part of the L bolting to lugs on the A frame, passing below the radiator grille and above the bumper to a pair of pre-threaded M6 ferrules either side of the radiator. As the radiator grilles are different on the Y2K from the 2004 (I think) some careful measurement would be needed! Last edited by Terranical; 14-04-2013 at 21:52. Reason: Omission |
