is it time for a new car? . . .
After buying a Grand Vitara earlier this week, it seems to outshine my T2 on the drive, shall I get something new? your opinions?

You'll have plenty of practice with the Vitara when the mrs nags you. My Mav is due for a waxing again, and a touch up of the waxoyl, I 'll try to do it before they grit the roads around here. Talking of getting cold... Today I am finishing off the central heating in the conservatory, so we can use it with friends and family over Christmas. Before anybody asks, yes you can fit central heating in a conservatory, if it operates on a separate system. You either need thermostatic valves or some way of shutting off the system separate from the rest of the house. So I have a pair of isolating valves AND a thermostat controlling a 2 port electric valve. Job done. The isolating valves plus a drain, allow me to drain down the conservatory should we ever go away at Christmas for any great length of time.
