Default R3MR

Hello,

I've just joined the forum as I'm about to buy my first 4X4....a Nissan Terrano R3MR 2.7TDI....and I've got a sneaky feeling that I'll be needing plenty of help, advice, technical assistance and sympathy !

I'm the wrong side of 50,but have never owned or driven any 4X4 in my life so I'm looking forward to the challenge of ownership and maybe some gentle off-roading/green laning.

I'm located on the border of Sheffield and the Peak District.

Cheers.

If you're going to be offroading/green lanes etc why choose a R3M
You'd be better off with a swb T2

I did warn you that I knew nothing about what I was getting into.

Realistically it will be used 98% for commuting and 2% for very gentle macho posturing.

Fairy snuff, mind you the R3M's hardly an eco warrior with it's fuel consumption
They're auto I think and heavier than a Terrano so logic says you'll be around the very low 20s to the old gallon

Oh yes
Is this R3M a cheap one you've seen somewhere? Just curious mate but they will be a thirsty beast for 98% "commuting", whatever that is
