I am sure the Ford Galaxy came in the top 10 of the most unreliable cars a few years back. I think I still have the info somewhere.

Quick someone get him an Autotrader magazine or something...

Sorry to hear about Sally, maybe it's time to retest drivers say every 10 years, or say after several accidents. Get them off the road.

Have a look at the Ford Galaxy Owners club.......

http://www.fgoc.co.uk/forum.htm

PS: Do they do a 4 wheel drive version so that you can get around in the winter..... NO !

So maybe back to Terrano's..

Good luck.

Best regards, Rustic

Not an option, if you use her Mistral, don't forget the towing limit of an Auto, won't be capable of towing it home when it breaks down.....

She will probably be re-incarnated as several new cars.

Pete, I can understand that, I was the same when they took away my daughter's Fiesta, we had that from new, 14 years, it was my wife's for many years and both my son and daughter learn't to drive in it.

I did the repairs, new wing mirror here... press out this dent there...
new wishbone here, new exhaust etc.

I will probably have a nervous breakdown if anything happens to my mav...

I know it's only metal, but after all they are taking care of you and your families lives if you think about it.

Thinking of you..

Best regards, Richard

After seeing the badly repaired Sally I'd say there was a good chance of reincarnation. Look her up on the insurance data base in a few months time. You may be surprised.David.

She has gone, but you have filled in a donor card, so she may well keep other vehicles alive with the transplant of her removed parts.
