Thumbs up Hello from Aberdeen

Hello all

I have just joined so here my story,..
I was a very happy Pajero owner untill she went over the hill and blew up !!
So we had to change our cars, my wife is now the proud owner of Fiat 500 and i have tacken on her 2003 X Trail 2.5 SVE Auto in Gold, we have had it for getting on for 4 years and it has never missed a beat but it was always her car so i did not pay it much attention, now its my dailey drive i am starting to realise what a great bit of kit it is. The winters up here can challange the most sorted of 4x4's, i have own several landrovers and pajeros and they are all good at what they do but this X Trail is exellent all rounder. I took my father inlaw to Manchester last winter through all the snow he was so impressed he went straight out and bought one.
I plan to make it i bit more off road capable over time as it is completely standard, i would like to lift it a bit and perhapps a snorkle

We that's me so i hope to get some good tips from you all

Thanks

Hi Bob and welcome.

Does the X-Trail have full time 4WD with electronic selection of low ratios, or has it a mechanical lever?
