Default newer T2 autotrader might have a look

Thinking about buying a newer T2 Mine is a 1998, seen one in my area on autotrader going to see what p/x they will give if i could get it for 5000 might do a deal

couple of questions road tax what band is it same has mine or with it been newer has it changed

is it the same engine, mine chipped could i put the same box in, mine soldered in place.

Exact same engine but depends what your chip box is - are you talking ECU or a standalone box....if the latter the underbonnet connectors might be different. But you can sell it?

I don't think any Terranos fell into the higher tax bracket as they just missed the 2006 cutoff.....but suspect it will be a tad more than your '98 MkII.

They mention MoTs but not FSH interestingly. As you know, intervals are 6000 miles because of the turbo so do check.

Road tax higher from start of 2001. Then changed again 2006

Check out the Direct gov web site and find out the exact tax bracket. I think the jump for 2001 is not as huge as the 2006 rip off.
