Default Evidence of shill bidding....

It's worse than that, I think there is clear evidence of shill bidding.

There is a bidder a***n with feed back of (46) that has bid on every car he has sold, the only car he "won" he was allowed to retract the bid by the seller, leaving a high bid to buy the car.

Maybe Ebay should investigate this.

A Mondeo, a Frontera, a Terrano, the shill bidder didn't need either of these.....

read the blokes feedback, anyone bidding on a car from him needs their head looking at. he is the sort of tw@t that ruins ebay and peoples trust

Good work Rustic, obvious shill bidding.

Obvious back street dealer. I don't why Ebay allow people to run car sales businesses on there without declaring themselves as a business seller.

Well simply ebay get their money any which way.
I also reckon it's a given that shill bidding happens all the time, it's just the name of the game. As usual it's buyer be alert

Once again I shrug my shoulders at the whole business of selling cars. I just don't know why so many people turn into lying cheating thieving lying barstewards as soon as they put a car up for sale.

Ebay member winningjay is the offending shill bidder in this case. I'll email Ebay for you Briggie.

What they do is get a friend, or use another ebay account to put a bid in, in an attempt to get someone else to increase their bid. If the "Friend" actually wins it, by bidding too high, then often the bid is retracted and is then offered to the 2nd highest bidder, if it doesn't reach the minimum price, then he re-lists it. Often with a phrase like.... due to a time waster, this is offered for sale again. Keeps the ebay fees down as well.

Often sellers try to hide their dealings by stating you must have a minimum feed back score, otherwise the bids will be cancelled. They try to give the impression that they are a reputable site and won't take messing about.....
Ebay are aware of these dealings BUT I guess they need to be shown that it is going on, before they will take action.

totally. you gotta get in there and play the game. its fraught with scamming MF's and you have to be on your guard, especially with cars.

I simply will NOT entertain any car add unless it has the full on description, max amount of pics and excellent feedback, otherwise its a waste of time.
