Have just found a cheap £10 240 v inverter, should do the job ok

Anyway, back on the camper topic, I'm going to continue installing insulation tomorrow

Remember Inverters draw a fair bit of current when the are plugged in, even when they are not actually running anything.. So make sure you fit a switch so you can turn off the 12v side.

Another thing is, most (Cheap?) inverters from my experience, will not run up if you have something already plugged into the mains side when you apply the 12 volt, so you need access to be able it switch off the mains side as well.

Cheers, I just recived £30 for fixing a Renault master for a neighbor, I know what that's going on I can get a good 300W inverter now,

Thanks for the info, I'll have a switch in it as I'm making a switch panel, also, its probably going to be mounted under the front passenger or driver seat

While you have the dash out, you couldn't see if you can find where that bolt I dropped went?

im changing the heater matrix and also putting in more wires

Nice to see a proper ratchet crimp tool being used.

Tip:

when passing wires over sharp edges, put some edging over the metal edge, I was particularly looking around your rear light cluster, but applies to all areas.

Will be watching to see what ideas i can nick ive just bought a 2000merc vito looking to put some windows and seats in back so will be paneling out maybe some leds in roof lining kids want me to turn it into a scooby do van
