Well done intersting to see the results. I've slept in mine but you need loads of ventilation for the nights whilst you are sleeping.

Does an aerial plug into behind the rear brake light. What's the Freeview setup?

Did you ever fit your second battery?

Yes, a external aerial will plug in behind the rear tail light, the free veiw box will plug into the radio and will live under the dash, as The radio has a built in monitor and a AV input. Will need to get a 12 volt free veiw box or somehow convert one that runs on 240 v so it'll work on 12.

im probably spelling this wrong but is the insulation called trioso.its rafter insulation good properties to that stuff but a nightmare to cut

I'm not sure the make of the shiny stuff, will find out, got it from wickes for £4 the, insulation that I've ordered off eBay is called rattlemat, its insulation/sound deadening

We bought a mains powered free view box for the boat, and it had a mains to 5 volt adaptor, well it was easy to find an adaptor from 12 to 5 volts, and it works a treat.

You just need to do a bit of hunting to see what they run on.

Like I said, there's no point getting an inverter only to reduce it back again to a few volts for the lappy, freeview box, fridge etc.

Dual battery though I reckon

We bought a couple of set top boxes from Asda a couple of years ago and they are 12v input from the little wall wart. I doubt the packaging will tell you this info it'll be a case of explain to staff and ask if they can open the packaging and check the output voltage of the power supply.

Aye cheers, I've seen Propper vehicle one on eBay but there really pricey

Most run off 5v or 12v. Most of the early ones had direct 240v in.

Aye I've got one that's direct in, but it'll have a step down transformer in it.
