why are you watering the interior?

How do you intend to repair those rust holes?


Will you weld plates in?

What about the ones where the rear seat corners drop down, they look quite minor compared the bigger holes?

good questions glad you asked

the rust is getting cut out and plates welded over. then rust protected

metal work was being disinfected with industrial strength chemicals that'll take skin off i shouldn't of been able to get them, but dad gets them through work they needed watered down so floor isnt damaged by them, also helps with cleaning, i dried it out with a industrial heat gun i borrowed

rear seats corners will be plated too 'probably'


yes im very enthusiastic about this project as i love working on my truck i was working on it until 11:00PM last night, if you have a fan heater and a good light inside, its fine

Not sure what insulation you intend to use but Celotex do an insulation that is 25 mm thick and is not only fireproof but has incredibly good insulation properties (A plus rated). I used it on the inside of my conservatory roof and it keeps it cool in summer and warm in winter.

Have you got a link for it? The stuff I've ordered is more sound deadining if anything, user. Some celotex in wickes but it was about 2 inch thick, also about £30 and the smallest size was about 3 by 5 meters

started putting in silver insulation

free-view TV Coax and socket all installed, i have fitted it in behind the pasenger rear brake light so its discreet, when the aerial is plugged in, all you have to do is remove the little access panel....nice and discreet

next job is to finish the sound deadening and insulation, should arrive tomorrow
