Default Edale/Laning/Spring 2019

I've just been reminded that there's a need for a meet/laning weekend. It's not that I miss you, or anything like that...

As mentioned in Salisbury we could have a look at Edale as a reasonably central location, a decent campsite http://www.upperboothcamping.co.uk/ (Closed until March).

Let's see the numbers and level of interest. There should be some easy stuff for stock vehicles and hopefully something more technical for others.

I've got a list of dates where I'll be working on the Saturdays, Easter is Apr 21 (so a no no).

Over to you to start throwing dates at me.

Depending on the date, we could be up for this... It would be nice to put faces to names.

Wispers... er does it have to be in a Nissan vehicle?

Excellent. Can you put some date that are good for you guys and we'll have a starting point?

All makes welcome.
Hopefully we'll get some of the newer members or less frequent contributors to come along too.

Yeah I'm up for this

I don't have the dates in front of me, but there is 2 bank holiday Mondays, and I normally like to book the Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and Friday off after one of those when the kids are off.

I don't know if that works for people or even if I can get it off but it's a starting point

The Sheffield schools are taking Easter bank hols separate to the Easter two week hol. Think cos it moves around want to standardise the term sizes.

Think they have 2 weeks off go back for 4 days then have a long weekend off. All very odd.

Definitely provisionally up for this

Would have loved to have done Salisbury but it was too far below the border for me!

I'm in dates permitting
Got plenty of routes for the area to keep everyone who wants to lane happy.

Email back from Upper Booth farm reads as follows:
"Hello

Thank you for your email

I am afraid we do not take caravans as they physically can't get here due to the narrow bridges and roads, we also do not have electric hook ups. You could try Newfold campsite in the village as i know they do take caravans tents and do have hook ups. Other than that i'm not sure of any other places in the Village that take caravans and tents that can be pitched next to each other anyway. "

So, I'm giving these guys a go now. http://www.greenacrescampsite.com/Gr...siteImages.php
