Just an update on this thread, the 3 uses a VP pump, whilst very similar to the VE it has a slight difference in that it does not vary the amount of fuel pumped per stroke as does the VE, instead it uses an electric device similar to common rail injectors, which will gum up as soon as look at it resulting in no or very little fuel delivery, hope this helps to clarify, Rick

Aim to get stuck and be completely self sufficient in extraction, love getting muddy, 2ft deep is good but rare.
