View Full Version : oh how i laughed
im on a caravan site in norfolk , and its been nissing down for days , last night i saw a bmw x3 on the access road to my row of caravans that was sliding all over the place because its very muddy and slippy , as i overtook it :lol , i opened my window and asked if he was ok , to which he replied " have you got a towrope ? " .... yes i have , but no towbar :augie..... in the end the security came and towed him out with their ford ranger , the bmw driver looked a bit embarrased , nice shiny alloy wheels , low profile tyres etc , absolutely useless in mud :lol....... lesson learnt there folks huh ? :augie:sly

Yes there is use your tow eye or get a towbar to really humiliate them:lol:lol
The more you show them up the better:clap:clap:clap
Jim
You dont need to have a towbar to tow with.
Shame on you Pete, I thought this was the friendly club no matter what you drive:(

i did ring security for him , plus it was very muddy , i couldnt have got out of the car without falling over , he did get a good view of my club sticker tho :naughty
yes, dont be too hard on the BMW driver, the x3 may HAVE 4 wheel drive, but its not an off roader, and with road tyres, its no more capable than an astra. Good show for helping out though, if anything, you may have taught him a little humility, so the next time hes about to cut up someone up the A1, he might think twice.

You need to book into the "how to appear really helpful but still show the beemer up " course ;)
Fasten your tow rope onto your truck whilst youre on the sunny side of the street so youre happy with it, hang it off the back then drive onto the crap and let the beemer driver get out , get mucky and then tell you when he's ready to go.
You tow him onto the tarmac then get out, disconnect everything and accept the prolific embarrassed thanks from him.
Easy peasy :thumb2

That's the problem with the x3's, they are a CAR trying to be a 4x4. Have you seen the top gear episode where they try and take it off road? Lol:thumbs
