wheres the best, cheapest place to get Duracell Batteries from? I need a fair few for my Nitro car, a pack of 20 is plenty...!!

ill try the supermarkets, Argos might have some offers too so ill check there..

as for rechargeable, ive heard these are no good for Nitro cars, as they lose charge quicker than good duracells...how true that is I dont know so we will see!

you have to use the more expensive rechargables

they did a test on rechargeables on the gadget show and found uniross batterys and charger were the best.

im new to the hobby, and very eager to learn. why do i need rechargeables??

i have a charger in the caravan i think, so im half way there....

If you shop around for a charger you should be able to find one (at no extra cost to standard) that has a car adapter and the usual mains :thumb2

you need rechargables for the servos, you get better amperage and a better steering response. use the duracells in your controller :D

my mate races model cars and the problem with rechargeables is there 1.2v opposed to 1.5v, maplins do a hybrid rechargeable and they last a bit longer, or better still use energiser lithium ultimate batteries, much better than duracells, get them from --

They do all that sort of rechargable and charger etc and various battery capacity:D
Also they do stonking good deals on all camera stuff printer ink and memory sticks etc
