i had an 02 one but couldn't get a signal so i sent it back :(

i'm pleased with the 3 one, and i didn't fancy 3 as their phone service is a bit hit and miss.

apparently, 3's phone service is pants, but their mobile broadband is all 3g (most phones still use 2g apparently) and so is pretty much the best around. I've been conecting usin HPSA wich according to the net is 3.51 g and it's faster than the broadband in the house, brilliant :clap

I use a vodaphone dongle when I am caravanning, recon it costs about 20p per hour to use, can be a bit slow but I dont mind when I am relaxing in the caravan. Sites charge up to £5 per hour!!! although I did visit one where the charge was £1.00 for 24 hours which I though was reasonable. regards bri

my vodaphone dongle (the old ones, still available on ebay) cost £15 and has lasted me since my son bought it me for last xmas, I have been using it on and off since then till two weeks ago when I had to buy another £15 worth. This as included twelve weeks caravanning when I used it most nights some times at home when the talktalk was off and the odd day out when I have taken the laptop with me. Very good value at about 20p per hour. regards bri

So which is the best to get then?
I fancy one just for the Hell of it really, but didn't want to end up paying £15 every month as well as the one in the house. What's the cheapest way?
£15 since Xmas or £7.50 a month sounds OK.

the best way is to get on a covergae checker fomr one of the big phone companies and enter the places / postcodes you want to use it most often and check coverage first and then check the deals.

A dongle is all I use, Orange, as I have no land line, it works very well for what it is, sometimes it hangs a bit otherwise OK what is not so good is downloading videos, too slow, jerky motion and delays so I just do not bother, Rick
