im looking to find out about the output of bhp and torque also what sort of turbo they run. im looking to try and tune one, i know this is the norm with the mavericks but im planning on putting the engine in a different car

Bets thing you can do is cough up a tenner for full membership, then you'll have access to all the info you need. I did and I haven't regretted it for one minute. Well, maybe when Briggie gets his joke book out.........
In the meantime , BHP for a 93 terrano 2.7 td is 122 and torque is 197 Nm / 145 lb-ft. I think.....

i fink 93 BHP for the TD.. teh TDI intercooler on top is 122 bhp..

un less some one knows better

I think you're probably right there Zippy, I was looking in Parkers guide and they list the same figure for all models :doh

was thinking about putting one in a ford scorpio, as im looking for a good diesel engine with lots of torque. so id either have to mod the diesel in the scorpio but they are not that reliable or i was thinking about using one out of the maverick as i would have thought id get more torque out of it as its set for 4x4. i dont know much about the maverick engine though:o

the cossie lump only came with an auto gearbox and its a big change to put it to manual
