welcome!!

stock, the Terrano is built for towing (if it has a tow bar lol) so no need to upgrade/change your shocks.

check for smoke-colour, density. servicing, how many miles has it? make sure you have decent tyres, these are rear wheel drive when in 2wd mode, i doubt youll have much trouble, even those of us that do often get the problem resolved quickly on this club!

good luck and i hope you enjoy your terrano!

Welcome aboard Anth, good luck with the truck. Lot's of advice on here, checkout the downloads section in Quick Links for how to's:thumbs

Yes these trucks do go wrong from time to time but are generally bullet proof. You won't even notice you've got owt on the back. As with any car make sure it has a good service ASAP, change rear diff oil using proper Limited Slip Diff Oil and Gear Box Oil too. Before it snows check 4wd working, when it hasn't been used the front auto locking hubs can cause problems but easily fixed with out even jacking car up. Speaking of 4wd DONT USE IT ON A HARD SURFACE.

Hi there, new here myself.

We purchased our terrano a few weeks back, up untill yesterday i had not had the chance to use the 4wd.

Where we train our rescue dogs into gun dog, some nice person borrowed the fourtrack we had to pull the beeters trailer around, so terrano came to the rescue.............

Totally fab, five adults, four dogs one trailers with eight people and six dogs across plough, marsh and long wet grass banks, no problem at all.

The petrol engine seemed to have bags of reserve left and very little wheel spinning at all.

Glad i spent the money and fitted some good mud/all terrain tyres

We have had many 4wd,s of all makes, looking back should of purchased a terrano along time ago instead of wasting heaps of money on somthing that is all show and no go.

Hi

Although i have no objection to a £10 membership at all, i have several intrests ,one of which is our dog rescue, the other North Essex Rag Tops, a convertible car club of which i am chairperson.
The thing i cannot find, i'm sure someone will steer me in the right direction is a contact phone number to obtain an address to post off a cheque(some of us do not use any form of plastic!)
We found with the car club we were loosing revenue and so now issue a phone number.
If there is a local meet where i can attend and pay?
I look forward to joining/meeting up etc,
Best wishes
Gavin

Many thanks

Hi guys,

Thankyou for all the kind offers, i want to pay, i have no objection to paying i just don't have a plastic card.

Half my free money each month is used with our rescue duties but places like this will not exist without funds so i would rather pay towards the club.

Thanks again and looking forward to being a full member
