lovely spot, fun on little chain? ferry across harbour.

nice ride on train upto paignton, vintage bus to totnes and
river cruise back down the dart.

The infamous dead sparrows ;)

A few of us just escaped being deep in the shit a few years back with them.

A couple of them along with a couple of other "plain" hawks put into ours for an overnighter. Have to say some of the crew were ignorant tossers.

The jets were in our shed overnight and on the tail fin of the plain ones the logo was a palm tree. (no idea which squadron that was but I think they were from Valley or Brawdey)

With a bit of clambering and the assistance of an artistically gifted colleague in a cherry picker we managed to stick a bright dayglo cut out of a dog pissing on each one.

I never did understand why there was such a witch hunt the next day after they did a fly past ...............Its not as if they were as noticeable on the tv as they were in the newspaper :augie:augie:augie:augie:augie
