View Full Version : Novice Terrano Fan - Help and Terrano needed!
Hi all :)
I stumbled upon the site thanks to Mr Google!
I am in the market for a Nissan Terrano, but have fallen in love with a particular model.
It's the jap import that is called Terrano rather than Minstral - looks like a Toyota Surf....
Anyone know what this model is called please? and even better where I could find one?
My boyfriend and I will be sharing the truck, me to pull my horse trailer and my boyfriend to use as a works vehicle (he's a mechanic)
any help/ pointers would be great :)

Would you buy a 'gas' conversion? I know a friend that has a disco on gas and says its fab, but my boyfriend's opinion is that the engines don't last long....

petrol engines converted to lpg last just as long if not longer, Diesels can not fully be comverted and still run (mostly) on diesel, though i don't think it causes and reliability or life span issues there either.
but you mention Hydrogen? now that is a completely different gas alltogether and i have no experience but would imagine it could be fairly harsh on an engine!
welcome to the club Sheri!
